Lessons
Savannah offers one-hour long English riding lessons. She is mainly a hunter/jumper instructor but can also teach low-level dressage lessons. She focuses on safety, correct basics, and fun! All ages are welcome to take lessons, whether just for fun or if you want to show. Savannah has been riding hunter/jumper and dressage for the majority of her riding career and has a passion for passing her knowledge to other riders.
All lessons are focused on making sure the student is learning how to be an effective and confident rider. Savannah makes sure all students learn how to be the best riders they can be by teaching them how to use their body, seat, and legs to control the horse. All riders learn low level dressage before jumping, since dressage makes for the best hunter/jumpers.

Horse Boarding
Your horse(s) will enjoy small herd sizes in the paddocks with large shelters and 24/7 access to high quality alfalfa mix hay. In the summer they will be turned out on our large pasture when weather permits. Grain/supplements can be fed twice a day for an additional charge. All horses have access to salt blocks in their paddocks. Boarders will enjoy our fully heated barn, indoor and outdoor arenas, trails/fields to ride in, and quiet atmosphere. This is a barn where your horse(s) are a priority and are treated like our own! We have a drama free atmosphere and a fun group of riders/boarders.
$320 for paddock/pasture board
$500 for 10x12 stall board
$450 for 10x10 stall board
Stall board includes daily turnout, labor for grain, blanketing, and fly spray put on daily in summer(owner provided)
Additional Add-Ons:
BEC provided grain: fee depends on amount of grain your horse eats
BEC has Purina Enrich ration balancer, Purina Senior Active, and alfalfa pellets available
For paddock/pasture boarder Add-Ons:
Owner provided grain: $30/month for labor
Blanketing: $40/month, includes one blanket change per day
Fly Spray: $20/month, includes fly spray (owner provided) put on once per day
Horse Training
Savannah has openings for training horses as well. She does not use any gimmicks, or harsh equipment to get results for horses. She uses soft hands, and patience when training horses. Groundwork is the first thing she focuses on with any horse, as that will translate to the under-saddle work. She uses a mix of positive and negative reinforcement to make sure the horse clearly understands what they are being asked. She wants the horse to learn to love being ridden, and not be scared or nervous with any rider. She can train them in any English discipline, although Savannah focuses a lot on a proper dressage/flat work foundation.
